Butterworth Home
(circa 1892) 1105 8th Street, Moline, IL 61265, Located in the Overlook Historic Neighborhood, 309-765-7970, Built as a wedding gift for Charles Deere's daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and William Butterworth, the Butterworth Home, originally known as Hillcrest, features an 18th century Italian ceiling painting, original furniture and formal portraits, among other treasures.

Deere-Wiman House
(circa 1872) 817 11th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265, Located in the Overlook Historic Neighborhood, 309-765-7970, This well preserved three-story Victorian home was built by architect William Le Baron Jenney for Charles Deere, son of John Deere, and his family. Known as Overlook to the family, the "Swiss Villa-" style Deere-Wiman House still retains many of its original furnishings and woodwork.
